| Previously was in an intense D/s relationship with a Dom who thought of me as his possession for over 2 years. Frankly, I loved it. Unfortunately there was a lot that I didn't know about him, the lifestyle or myself at the time that kept me from making an informed decision. Well, that pretty much started my journey, and what a journey it's been.
I'd love to see research out there that is made available to the general public and not just to academians or social science researchers that is under the umbrella of Dominance/submission and BDSM (and, of course, the ownership community). I'd love there to be sexual health information--just like there is for mainstream sexualities and LGBT sexualities. As an s-type woman, it would have helped me a lot. We all deserve to have ourselves represented in sexual health literature and not be kept underground. Anyway, I want to change that and I'm working on it.
