Very bruisy. (All knots tied in nylon materials have to be stitched securely into place with nylon upholstery thread. Note that flogger tails endure a LOT of velocity and stress.) 17 May 07 Rope flogger handle Handle core is the same lengths of rope that form the tails, doubled over, wound very tightly with para cord to create a stiff, stable form and capped with 3-lead Turk's Head knots on each end. 17 May 07 Nylon rope flogger Flogger made exclusively from nylon materials (5/8" rope and para cord). Cost, under $15 USD, time, spread out over several days. Skill level, not terribly complicated (mostly requires learning Turk's Head knot).
