Ah, um, that's OK -- mine WAS (almost) 4 years with the same kid. LOL!

I haven't noticed any property/slaves here that I would characterize as mindless. There may be a few here who are bimbos but one would assume that is because their Owner likes that.

One slave I know from elsewhere than this board, although she is here too, is working on her second Doctorate.

Twentyfour 7's posts, the last I looked, have all been negative, the profile and the website it leads to are a nonsensical mish-mash. There seems to be no interest in dialogue, the posts essentially being in the form of harangue.

I for one find the harrangues on parenting offensive. I've been a single mother (explaining to a 14 month old that you aren't Mama but Dada is fruitless and they don't like it much) and I raised a son I can point to with pride, an asset to his community. His performance on 9/11 and in the following months will always be something I am proud of.

His birth mother, my first slave, was a good and caring parent when her illness was not upon her - a then untreatable mental illness which we discovered was triggered by the anxiety of caring for a child. She gave him up rather than subject him to being raised in such a situation, not an easy decision but one that she and I still believe to have been in his best interests.

I would suggest that we simply stop responding to this travesty of a troll.

Did someone say 'troll'??

I looked at 24's page, its negative an attcking as are her posts around here. Normal troll behaviours. If you are negative inside, then it comes to the surface.

For those who don't know my nickname its 'trollslayer'; I thought I could retire, you tellin me I have to come out of retirement and handle a troll on the boards, again? Give a girl a break. I just wanna settle down, get married and get pregnant this summer, is that too much to ask?!

3 of the Best weapons against trolls are 'facts' they can't argue with facts, ignoring only works for so long, but it does get your point across that they are NOT worth acknowledging, the third thing, is be NICE. Trolls can't handle those are are ALWAYS nice. See my sig line for my inspiration for that one. It works.

Troll lesson over. You can now return to your regular websurfing and posting.

I know it feels good, but does name-calling ever bring anything positive to any conversation? Here are some more names:

freak, pervert, slut, faggot, bigot, nigger, tree-hugger, criminal, sinner, snob, weirdo...

Is there a single one of these that does anything more than diminish the humanity of the person they are applied to? We are all full human beings and deserving of compassion, you know, no matter how much our pain and confusion may cause us to attack or belittle others. It's all well and good to shoot at perceived invaders of this sacred space, I just don't see how either we or they are healed, supported, or enlightened by such exchanges.

Concerning the actual topic of this thread:

I am naked almost all the time at home, and since I work from home, that's almost all the time, period. A thigh-length t-shirt takes care of most cool temperatures and in-the-yard activities.

Among my few trusted friends, nudity or slave dress are acceptable provided other circumstances permit.

Outside of those, it's not my place or intention to create discomfort, but I can still be dressed minimally and comfortably in most situations.

The same goes for unexpected visitors; it's not for me to create discomfort by imposing my requirements on them. That said, if someone knocks on the door with the intention of exposing me to their religion, they may well find themselves exposed to mine...

LOL i should probably leave this alone, but just for fun.

Yes i'm a freak, a pervert: oh yeah constantly (though i take it negatively if insinuated about children that way), slut: definately and proud of it, faggot: well i'm bi? does that work?, nigger hmm nope not that color, but i have been called white trash which i think is the equivalent, in good fun it's ok, when it's done in a belittling way (not by my Master) then it's not, tree-hugger YES! i actually have hugged and kissed a tree, why not?, criminal? well i never got caught ;), sinner: to christian morals probably, i think i've broken most of their commandments, (not all) i don't really care who calls me that, they obviously think differently than me, let em, snob? ok yeah that would hurt because i really don't believe i'm like that, weirdo? Ha i like to be called that, i have a bit of a pride on the fact that i'm not like the "normal" person.

so see there are people that when called some of those things don't care, though it does depend who's calling you them and why. just couldn't resist my 2 cents there

My master's only clothing rule for me is "No polo shirts in the house!" Since that is my school uniform, most evening you'll find me wearing just my school uniform slacks and no shirt. (I could go find another shirt, but I usually don't bother.) This amuses him and a number of our friends.

My master and I both tend to spend as much time naked as practical. We're pretty cold hearty and with the wood stove going I'll often walk around the house naked in wintertime, or naked but for slippers. I'm actually the one in charge of making sure no one turns the heat up in the winter ("Put on a sweater!" "Bring in some firewood!" "Don't touch that thermostat!") and thrift always overrides our desire for nudity.

I do like to wear underpants or a robe if I'm going to be sitting down much because I don't like putting my bare ass on surfaces other people are going to have to sit on. It seems rude. I also tend to wear some kind of lower garment when I cook, for my own saftey.

We don't have a clear division between "lifestyle" and "non-lifestyle" friends, and because nudity isn't a mark of submission for us, who sees us naked is more about which people are comfortable with it. There is sometimes the issue of people coming to the door and no one has any clothes on, but usually someone can throw some pants on quickly and see to them. It is only a problem with the package deliver people... They often give you only as much time as it takes them to fill out a "Sorry we missed you!" slip before they drive off.

As an unowned slave I would take it for granted that my Master or Mistress would decide what, if any, clothing I should wear. Having said that obviously it isn't always practical to be naked in the home. I take it that Master or Mistress would take that into consideration. As for being surprised by unexpected visitors, surely that is part and parcel of a slave's life?
