Piercing of Nipples - continued (26)
Wed 5 Mar 08, 1:37 AM daMenace AU, 14 mths |
Hi There.
I have started this new thread as the original is now full.
I too have recently had both nipples pierced. DEcided to do both at once!!
I thought about it for a long time and eventually decided to take the plunge.
Talking it over with the Piercing shop, I was advised to get some Emla cream (Numbs the local area) whic is available both as cream and as patches.
The cream can be applied about ab hour beforehand.
I felt no pain as the piercing was done, also having been told when to breathe in and breathe out.
I had some discomfort for about 2 hours afterwards, ofter that, nothing to really speak of.
I was advised to apply ice to each nipple for 10-20 minutes per day, plus rub in a solution of essential oils at least once per day.
That was about 4 weeks ago and all is progressing very well.
Being male, I only have small nipples ..... but it all has gone well so far.
My desire now is for 575-943-334 to have hers pierced as well. |

To me, that's cheating. I say it's your right to do it, and I would never even think of saying that you shouldn't, but to me, doing it that way doesn't seem right. Part of how I feel about it is...it's like...going though the pain is a way of earning the right to wear the jewelry. Also, to quote a sign in my local tattoo/piercing shop..."It's all about the pain. The ink and the jewelry are just souvenirs." My piercer actually refuses to do any piercings for someone if they want to use any sort of anesthetic.
This is not meant to be disrespectful in any way. It's only my opinion. Just...an opinion I hold very deeply.

I understand that the thinking about anesthetics is different in the UK and AU than it is in the US.
In most (all?) of the US it's illegal for a piercer to sell or administer anesthetics. But in the UK and Australia apparently EMLA use is fairly common.
Ultimately the choice is up to the consumer, at least in places where the anesthetic is legal and the piercer is comfortable with it.

When I had my nipples pierced, it was done as an offering to Him, and psrt of that was experiencing the pain.
Which was not as bad as I had been lead to believe it would be.
But, I did experience almost instant subspace as the first needle touched my skin.
It felt amazing!!
As for aftercare, I did the twice daily "saltwater dangle"
My piercing was done in september last year, and is now completely healed.
And He is very pleased with the result. |

It seems to me that nipple piercing appears to be almost a "rite of passage" for a lot of submissives/slaves/property, done at the behest of their Dominant/Master/Owner.
Personally, I will never have mine done, it's not something Himself is interested in (to the point where when I was contemplating it at the very beginning of our relationship as something ~I~ wanted to do, He put a quick stop to it).
Of course it's personal preference.
I was just wondering why it seems to be such a fixation for a lot of Dominants to have their submissives pierced in that particular way? "Property of The Devil Himself"

EMLA cream is available across the counter in any Pharmacy here in Australia. Have no idea about the UK or the US.
Given some comments made since my previous post, I don't believe that my experience was any different to others who have commented here. There was still the sensation of the piercing happeining without any pain, to be followed by a couple of hours of discomfort.
To that end, one would wonder, having read the previous quotes if in fact the EMLA cream made any difference. |

This weekend she asked me if she could take the piercings out permanently from her nipples. It's been a year and a half and they never really worked for us. They still were gunky, and inflamed despite a lot of cleaning and aftercare.
She has always had very sensitive nipples almost too painful for me to do anything to them. Breast reduction did nothing for the sensitivity, perhaps made them more sensitive! The piercings just made her nipples pretty much unbearable to have played with, and although I am a little sad that I have agreed to let her remove them for safety's sake, I am looking forward to playing with her nipples much more!
For some people it works, for us it never really did, except the act of her doing it for me. But the real key was making sure she is healthy and safe, and the issues with her piercings were now starting to become a real health issue. |

If the piercing was painless that's probably different from most people's experience

I have a clit hood piercing at the moment, and my Master wants to have my nipples pierced too. For us they are symbolic; the hood piercing marks me as his slave, and nipple piercings will have the same meaning. I really like feeling marked by him in this way, so I don't think it's a fixation just for Dominants. I didn't actively choose to have a piercing - it means a lot to me that I had it done purely for Him.

Thanks for the reply!
I didn't mean that "marking" was a Dominant fixation, Lord only knows I cherish marks from Himself (down to bumps and bruises), and I can well understand how the fact that you had (and will have) yours done specifically at his behest, holds a lot of meaning for you.
Moreso, that nipple piercing (specifically) seems to be a popular choice and I was wondering why.

Well, as I said before, if you read through the previous thread, people have said the same.
893-174-267, in the 16 Apr 07 said " ... No pain at all when nipples were pierced and only a slight sting with the other one. ..."
I am sure if you care to go back and review that thread you will find similar comments.
Seems people here comment on the pain being the thing to experience! Seems to me that the pain is a very short term thing, as in a few hours! Piercing would normally be seen as a long term thing and for me it is more the visual effect, particularly with regard to females, although some do comment on the benefit of increased sensitivity.
So what benefit is it that people get from pierced nipples? Look at this from both the perspective of the one undergoing the piercing and other(s) in the relationship that do not?
Is it the short term pain; the increased sensitivity; or the visual effect or the other opportunity presented by piercing in the ability to increase the means to undertake nipple and breast torture? Or is it just the satisfaction of saying "I did it and hacked the pain?".
Another option of course having thought about this a bit more is that it is a demonstration that one can overcome the mental component and face up to doing something that we might perceive to be potentially agonising and have the courage to actually go through with it?
All food for thought!
