This one has recently begun keeping a patch of hair, and before that used to always shave it, since she hit puberty. Therefore, this one wants to take good care of it, but is completely clueless! Can A/anyone give this one any good advice as to maintaining pubic hair? Trim it? Shampoo it? Anything will help. Thanks! When I do I just wash the hair with body soap at the same time i wash my body.(try using a soap with lotion or liquid soap so it doesnt dry our skin out) I also trim it about once a week so it doesn't get REALLY long, my hair grows pretty fast. But yeah nothing to fancy with the up keep of pubic hair. Its probable going to itch a lot at first especially sinse you have never had hair. Just that if you do scratch, it can irritate the folicles and cause ingrown hairs, which you do not want down there! i speak from experience, it is very uncomfortable and awkward trying to remove them. However, I do feel some itchiness on my pubic area every now and then; I am not sure whether it is due to the lack of moisture of my pubic area because of being locked behind the chastity belt all the time or the growing of the hair. If there is itchiness, I would recommend you to apply smoothing cream as Vaseline, Aloe Vera, baby lotion etc at all time to keep the bare public area from itchiness when the hair is growing. My husband applies these creams to my groin area every evening when he unlocks the chastity belt on me for cleaning to smooth and soothe my pubic and vagina areas from itching. When the hair grows in full, just wash it with shampoo as you wash you hair every time you take a shower to maintain hygiene, trim a little with good scissors when it is a bit long, good luck. 19 Mar 08, 4:12 PM little_linnet US, 3 yrs Water will keep your pubic hair clean just fine; keep soap away from your vulva. Some people use conditioner on their pubic hair though. I Persian wax my bikini line and keep the rest trimmed about an inch long with scissors. I rub a little oil into it when I oil my body in the shower. This sort of grooming is all a matter of taste (in this case your owner's). When pet was younger she did not shave, but she did trim, using a nice pair of small scissors. As for keeping the pubic hair clean pet would just wash gently when she washed her body, in the shower. But yes, letting it grow you will itch a lot.
