Cuffed at the keyboard (16)

At the risk of sounding like a shameless troll -- but seriously, this applies to some people I know. (This might be considered a follow up to a recent question I posted about kneeling chairs.)

Are you now or have you ever been ... required to be in some form of bondage (real or token) when you sit down at the computer?

That might mean collared, handcuffed, tethered to the desk or chair, or even gagged.

As a corollary question, have you had any difficulty using a standard keyboard while in handcuffs? Is a split keyboard better than a straight-across keyboard?

At home alone, never. I sit how I want, wear what I want. When Master and I are together, I am usually naked, so if we do computer work together then just Masters collar.

Mouse always has her 24/7 collar on, the only time that comes off is when we are on the Judo mat and most of the time that we are in she wears her leather collar as well.

My wife has learned to type pretty well in cuffs. A lot of the time her cuffed hands are free to move about, but quite often they are in turn chained to her collar so she has to bend forward to reach the keys. Certainly when you try using a computer in some sort of bondage for the first time it can be hard. But like anything else, if you keep doing it, eventually you work out what works and what doesnt and it becomes pretty normal. But I'm sure that a lot of people use the computer in some sort of bondage, either by their own hand or by another's. I knew of a girl once who worked in her owners home office, and she spent her day on the end of an eight foot chain except for potty breaks. And I remember another lad I used to talk to who had his hands cuffed seperately to the desk, his fingers only just able to reach mouse and keyboard.

I am always in cuffs at home - my wrists are cuffed to a 12 inch chain that passes through a "D" ring at the front of my bondage belt. Typing is fine in these cuffs; though when I am disobedient my wrists are sometimes cuffed to a long spreader bar that passes behind my neck - this makes one handed typing extremely cumbersome. I otten have to type while wearing an open mouth or ball gag as well as my locked butt plug harness - I am used to having to sit on a large butt plug while at the keyboard.

Done it. Sometimes hands cuffed together, other times left to use the computer but leashed to the desk or chair.

No feminist thinks men and women are exactly the same. But what we reject is the notion that the difference between men and women is that men are human and women are objects.

Not computers, but my former Owner once had me gagged and cuffed (metal handcuffs, behind my back) as a punishment and had me play Playstation 2 for his amusement. I think it pissed him off a little, though, in the end, because I beat his high score on Katamari Damacy Make a Star 4.

Being cuffed behind my back actually IMPROVED my game.

Yes,

When on the computer, cuffs are on and linked, ankles cuffs on and linked or the leg irons are put on in lieu of the ankle cuffs. This only applies when on the computer, if i am not on the computer, the collar on me is sufficient...

Well, one reason for us is that when she is at the computer she is pretty stationary anyway...so the opportunity is there for more restrictive bondage that would not be so practical when she has a task that requires more travel. And another reason is that when at the computer, you don't move all that much anyway, so to make it more intersting and challenging, why not restrict movement even more! But the best reason in my humble opinion is that she just looks so darned beautiful like that! :)

Last week I spent quite a bit of time shackled. He didn't share with me the reasoning. I suspect the largest motivation was the chance to have a giggle at my expense and ease the boredom a bit.

He gave me a foot of chain to work with so things weren't that logistically difficult. I only got really clumsy when he padlocked the chain to my collar, restricting my range of movement to almost nil.

In regards to using the computer, whatever his initial reasoning happened to be was not quite how it came out. I found myself focusing intently upon him and the way he wishes me to act. I don't go about disobeying him online, but it is a space free from his influence. The shackles put his touch all over a place that had previously been mostly mine.

It became yet another way to remind me of my position as property, and reassure me that all is well in our world.
