Master has one i use to wear it all the time. Unfortunately i am allergic to metal. However no one said a word, i wore it home, to grandmothers, work, church ect. Not one word. Also this site http://www.ringofsteel.net/ makes coverings for them. i am looking into getting coverings for the one i wear so that way i can wear it again.

Thank you for mentioning the collars sleeves. They are not expensive, my wife makes them, but I will give you a 10% discount as I do others from TSR that buy items from me. I have had customers with metal allergies be able to wear one of my Stainless Steel collars, including my wife. Do you know what material your last collar was? Not everyone can wear metal but there are some materials that are better than others. Maybe I can send you one on a trial basis before you buy?

Thank You so much Sir. i do not know what kind of collar it is, however i will mention Your kind offer and discount to Him.

I'm not sure what you want the collar for (scene play, 24/7 wear, etc.). One option, though, that would give you a completely non-metallic collar is to braid it out of nylon rope. You can get the rope in all sorts of sizes and colors. The fastening would be like old-fashioned horse hobbles. Braid a loop in one end, continue the braid for about 15 inches (whatever the right size is), and terminate the braid with a button-knob (I don't recall the exact term for this). The collar would be fastened around the neck by pushing the knob through the loop, which should fit securely enough to allow you to pull on the collar.

Stainless may be an option, neverless contact a jeweler. They now have some metals that are pretty much allergy free.

Personally for my slave, when she goes out of the house, she is wearing a shirt buttoned up to the neck, winter or summer, that she is not allowed to unbutton any knob without my permition. When she comes home i put her a leather collar.MIKEmaster

how about a plain nylon dog collar? i wear a purple nylon dog collar embellished with rhinestones (ladies, try coordinating your wardrobe around that!) and its very comfortable. and even in this southern U.S. climate its not too hot.

grateful for my place in life as slave of Master George

may i ask why You believe You would lose her if she does not have a collar around her neck. Although it is accepted that a collar is placed around the neck, surely it matters more that in her heart, mind and soul that she know shes collared? i cant believe that any sub/slave would walk away from a Master merely for the fact that she doesnt wear a collar. or maybe i have just misread this.

I think you've misread chaonooda2. What I think he's talking about is the prospect of her having a severe allergic reaction, going into anaphylactic shock and him losing her to death if her allergy is activated. People often talk this way about allergies. I suspect in this case it is hyperbole (since I can't imagine a metal allergy that is so all encompassing and so hyper-reactive at the same time and yet hasn't already killed her) but there are certainly some allergies that can cause this kind of problem.
