Masterfiremaam and slave_emma's questions are important, and are the same kind of thing that from the Master's position I would ask a prospective slave.

The mundane aspects of life and how they will be handled are as important as the Master/slave part of the relationship.

And of course discuss your needs as a slave as well as your prospective Master's needs. A good complimentary fit of kinks is worth a lot, as this will lessen future conflicts.

Lots of clear and honest communication is important while entering any kind of relationship.

I've often wondered whether or not our relationships are easier or harder than vanilla ones. Do we add a whole 'nother layer of complexity, so that not only do we have to deal with all the issues vanillas deal with, but the added dimensions of the Master/slave relationship? Or does the Master/slave relationship cut through some of the nonsense vanillas have to deal with? (I think I'll start another thread on this.)

Raven's remarks are, as usual, right on. I never trust people who abuse power or fail to treat others with decency and respect because of their social status.
