The natural remedies have been discussed but you can take domperidone too, a drug available over the counter. (Motilium is a brand name in the UK) The sites for adoptive parents wanting to feed can give you doses/levels. It's a drug for an upset stomach but taken at much greater doses. I am not condoning a drug to swallow without anyone taking all the precautions and looking at side effects and risks etc. Also it will always be take anything at your own risk etc, do your research. I used it and it worked amazingly in conjunction with pumping too. I would leak if squeezed. The pumping really has to be more than daily with a high quality pump, unless you have some one to suckle. Domperidone is rather difficult to get in the US, i mentioned it to a Dr friend, who said i'd have to find it online probably. i opted for other methods. Fenugeek works very well, as others have said. The rule of thumb seems to be if one doesn't smell the maple syrup odor, they need more. Milk Thistle is another used. i've learned Goats Rue works better for me, and has less side effects than massive doses of fenugeek. Lots of water is recommended, MG is taking away my Diet Pepsi (yes, there are tears dripping on this message, good thing it isn't ink) and decreased my coffee intake by a pot a day. That made a huge difference. AHh..almost forgot..vitamins are helpful too, just a good multi vitamin. GNC has prenatal vitamins for a reasonable price..it helps milk, hair, and nails.
