I know sometimes with computers when they come out as the squares, it's because the computer does not reconize the font you are using, in this case bar codes ... This happenes because you computer system does not have that form of font on hand (same thing will happen if you tried to print, lets say a chinese font). One way that you can get around this is download a new font file to your computer... I get alot of free fonts from this website and they have several different barcode styles to chose from. http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=711 Select the style you want, download it to your computer, cut/copy the file (it will be similar to a wordpad/notepad file) ... open "my computer" .. then go select your C:/... then the windows file... then you will have to search for the "fonts folder" ... then paste it in there, click refresh and now you have that font to use as you wish. You can also use it as a regular font on your word pad ... MS Word or any other typing software you may have will have it listed in the font selection list.
I hope this helps ... or atleast gives you something fun to play with later on ! |
