It puts the host and owner at risk of fines or prosecution, and breaks UK and EU law, to access the site when you are underage. And this would no doubt be much much worse in the States! How on earth people can go on offering advice about an adult lifestyle to someone who is in fact a child, and who has openly said that she began in this lifestyle at about the age of 14, just beggars belief. In law, if not in her own mind, she is therefore both a victim of child abuse AND statutory rape in the US... amongst other things! And I'd say she should be considered vulnerable too given that she requires pretty serious medication. How many of you are always adding to your profiles 'NO children or minors' and frothing at the mouth at the mention of paedophiles? Now you're faced with a 'nice' minor, you're going to change your mind and bend the rules? Allow a little, 'well-meaning' child abuse because of course you're not really 'one of them'? The judge is going to see what a nice moral person you are and that you only wanted to help her, huh? Oh sure, just like the paedophiles who believe that the children they abuse love them. FFS what are you thinking?!?!?! It's time for you all to face the reality of all the posturing about how responsible and honourable you are, how you abhor the involvement of children in the lifestyle. This is, in law, a child. We ARE adults, discussing an adult lifestyle, and one to which those of us who are serious and responsible about it AND the law, say that this girl cannot have given consent. But I cannot see how circumstances here justify encouraging dishonesty. To my mind, there's a significant difference between the needs and capabilities one can sensibly expect of a dependent 16-year old and an 18-year old who lives (or has begun to live) independently, and sometimes that idea will very much affect the advice I offer to another. I don't know with certainty but there may be others here who share this opinion. Or there may be some members who simply have a personal preference regarding the age of those they correspond with. Your suggestion would help circumvent the ability of other members to make that choice for themselves. The fact she is suffering from mental health problems & vulnerable makes it even more important she is not exposed to things she shouldn't be or to people who could exploit her. No matter how much it made me smile to see people wish me luck in staying here, i do realize that it could cause Tanos and the website legal harm. i do not wish this to happen. However, please don't think my depression will leave me vulnerable to anything. i am, and have been, in therapy for a year or so, and i just started medication. i am fully aware of what i am doing and the Lifestyle i choose to live, as well as the societal thoughts of it, as well as the consequences it may have on my life. i do not agree that this is an "adult" lifestyle, as there are plenty of kids who get involved in it. Eammon Actually....her profile is still there (at this late hour, California, US time - 8:57pm) but all indication of age has been removed. I would like to see her removed entirely. The porn sites in the US have at least a minimal way to make sure folks are of age...I would hope that some way could be found to make sure folks are of age to be on this site. This is a sensative area to me as I have seen the effects of a pedophile first hand and would hate to think that I have in some way added to another minor being exposed to issues best left to those over the age of consent.
