A lot of those are onlineisms as well, and it's interesting to see them.

These are the ones with which i am familiar and Master wishes me to know.
Gotta love it!

Sorry, i can't resist
if Position is "everything in life", than we slaves really have a handle on "everything in life" - GRIN or GROAN as Y/you see fit, or just scroll on down. (LMAO)
my late Master had a great sense of humor as was a terrible punner - almost as much as Piers Anthony the sci-fi/fantasy author. And He'd even laugh at Himself for doing the punning, saying 2/3 of a pun was p-u, as in stinky. (GRIN)
i never had any sense of Humor much before i met Him. j/L Papa's owned always: still proudly wearing His Collar and Ring, rest in peace Beloved Master/Husband! "Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose" Janis Joplin

Would you believe I didn't even notice that!
Didn't understand your comment about onlineism ... went to have a look... and 'oh yes - so it is'
I just thought the images were well done and read the text as quick explanations. It's the blonde showing
I tried your link but could only get a black page up with purple Xs at the side

here is another site to check out positions

These are more of the "old guard" positions as I am not into gor at all.
But generally what works with you and master is what is best. |

Thanks for posting that
We're not into Gor here either but found the positions helpful as a guide way back then.
Sad to say so far back I'd forgotten a lot of them til I looked at the page again.... really must get out more
Take care

It's really interesting to compare the two "types" as it were. Some of the positions look very much the same and some are different, and it does spark an interest in the other type, i think.
Thanks for posting!

I have cat use only four formal positions (see her profile), each of which has been developed by us without reference to outside wisdom. It turns out that our Mandatory Position No.1 (which can be adopted either standing or, more normally, kneeling) is identical to "Basic Positions 1 & 2" as cited by slaveheatherleigh.
Our No.2 is close to Basic Position 4, but our Mandatory Position No.3 is a little different (http://www.seekdiscipline.com/pictures/229-555-4...).
Perhaps we should try a few others

I am glad that site was of some help. As I stated, what works best within the M/s relationship is always best. |

I think by "onlineisms" was meant positions which are on many Gorean internet sites, but which were not in Norman's original Gor books (such as "Sula-Ki"), or versions of Norman's positions which are not quite accurate to the books (such as the tower position most often having the wrists crossed, or image http://kohlteths-camp.tripod.com/sitebuildercont... showing the arms held vertically above the head, etc.).
By the way, many of the images on the "Kohlteth" and "Iceman1963" sites were taken from annasart.com without proper attribution...
